Dr. Celeste A. Rivers has been an educator for over 25 years and has supported the personal growth of people of all ages. She has a B.A. in psychology, a M.A. in Special Education with an Annotation in Autism, and a Doctorate in Education. She holds certifications in the NYC Dept. of Education School Administration and Supervision as well as School District Administration. Dr. Rivers successfully completed the National Boards for Professional Teaching Standards. She is a certified Wilson FUNDATIONS Facilitator of grades K and 1 and is trained in the Language Essentials for Teachers in Reading and Spelling (LETRS). She has served the academic community as an Instructional Coach, a Reading First Coach, a Dean of Discipline and Instruction, a Positive Behavior Director, an Academic Interventionist, an IEP coordinator, a Universal Literacy Coach and more. Dr. Rivers has dedicated countless hours to teaching, training, coaching, counseling and supporting children and adults. She has a 100% success rate with client improvement. During the pandemic Dr. Rivers helped support the education of the early childhood population in NYC by participating in an initiative entitled "Let's Learn NYC". She is featured on PBS (WNET) in several episodes teaching the reading lesson of the day. Dr. Rivers strives to help change the world by sharing the gift of reading and helping as many as possible achieve their personal BEST.
